Aichi Gakuin is the dental teaching university in the area so you are pretty sure to get a good dentist there. It is in Kakuozan on the Higashiyama Line (yellow). My family have used it for 25 years. A number of doctors speak English.

I had my root canal done at the Higashiyama Dental Clinic. Was extremely happy with the dentist there. Dr. Naganawa speaks perfect English and has the newest equipment. The clinic is directly next to the Zoo at Higashiyama koen subway station.
