The best card by far for us west coasters is the Alaska Airlines MasterCard. 75 dollar Annual fee, annual round trip companion ticket for 100 plus tax, 15,000 points on application, collect/redeem on a lot Iof partner airlines. We like RBC Avion - they are extremely easy to use. We also have an AMX for travel and you can switch the points to a different airlines.
