pediatric gastroenterologist located at 257 lafayette ave suffern the group comes here from westchester medical there are about 3 doctors in this group number is 914-594-4610 or 914-367-0000 they are excellent and they do take babies
Danielle M. replied:
Clarkstown PEDs Dr Quinn
Chrissy F. replied:
How old is he now? I had 2 colic babies. Melanie was on reflux meds and was very gassy and we use NR Peds. I would put a tsp or so of rice cereal in their bottles and I started that at 6 weeks to coat the belly.
Lisa F. replied:
Dr Andrew Satran at Advanced Pediatrics on 202 is great too. It's a one doctor practice, which I like.
Sarah L. replied:
I can't even tell you how much we love Dr. Satran! Lisa, did we recommend him to you?
Eileen D. replied:
Pomona Pediatrics - 362-0202
Jeffrie K. replied:
I got to Clarkstown pediatrics and they have 3 offices. One in stony point, nanuet and new city and I have to go to the one on new city cause when Graysen was a newborn he wouldn't sleep and they are open weekends. he was miserable plus Sylar had it when he was a newborn too so I knew what it was and they put him on Prevacid and it worked so great. I don't not like the liquid Zantac. You have to take it 3 times a day and its not the same thing. The doctors there Are wonderful
Gloria H. replied:
try north rockland peds they have a list of doctors in that office been there for years and have many new doctors 845-942-1772 call and ask the office that question they are in there right now if you like
Jeffrie K. replied:
Jeanine Altro tell your doctor its making it worse and if your insurance is covering it he can write a letter to your insurance to tell them it makes it worse and I'm sure they will cover it or however your insurance works cause the Prevacid is more exspensive but it does magic!
Amanda P. replied:
I highly recommend Dr Butt at Haverstraw Pediatrics

Bardonia Pediatrics845-623-8031. My daughter has acid reflux and I take her to a GI doctor. His name is Dr. Berezin. He has offices in Suffern and Westchester. 914-367-0000.
Has anyone had problems with North Rockland Pediatrics? I'm finding them to be extremely unreasonable and greedy in getting paperwork for my son. Any other pediatrician...
Adrienne S. replied:
Pomona peds my favorite.... 362-0202
Analizzette R. replied:
Bardonia pediatriacs is excellent 623 8031
Jessica P. replied:
I think with any dr. Office there will always be a problem for someone about something and people who both love and dislike them. North Rockland peds. Isn't perfect but I really haven't had any problems that I would risk switching to face different problems somewhere else. I have been seeing dr. Newmeyer with my youngest and find her sweet and easy to talk too while never feeling rushed. Dr. Cohen is also very knowledgeable and usually right on the money.
Lindsay S. replied:
Dr. Quinn clarkstown ped hes usually in stony poiny office very thorough and easing going office.staff is friendly
Michele S. replied:
Pomona Pediatrics!
Andrea P. replied:
Brought my oldest there last week, saw a different dr. Dr Newmeyer saw us as we were checking out, stopped and talked to us, asked how everything is going. then pulled me aside to talk to me about my little one and his diabetes. She's amazing, I can't say enough how wonderful she is.
Jennifer A. replied:
Dr. Laub was funny… couldn't hide his annoyance when babies would cry. I remember he gave my son a shot at like 3 years old and don't ask why but for some reason, my son giggled after (shocked me too!) and he actually laughed and said "well I've never seen that before." I love all the doctors at NR peds all though fortunately i don't have to go there often.
Marion H. replied:
Paula, you are right but I noticed it happened when they got new doctors and Dr. Laub was getting ready to retire. My kids were sad when he retired. He was the doctor since birth. At 16 and 19 my boys don't go there anymore since he isn't there.
Laurie B. replied:
I left NR pediatrics...I know many still go there and love them but I didn't after Dr Kanef and Dr Stone left (dr stone was amazing!) I prefer Pomona because of the staff and the doctors..great atmosphere and my daughter doesn't have to wait hours in the waiting room. To me it Is important that my daughter have a good experience so there is no fear.
Paula E. replied:
I know Marion, I cried when Dr. Laub retired, he actually had one of the staff call me to see if I was okay. I've been seeing Dr. Fallon, she is nice, love how she reviews the file before she comes in the room.
Cathy F. replied:
LOVE Dr. Satran at Advanced Pediatrics. He loves what he does, and is so good with my boys. He calls back personally. He is very dedicated.
Michelle L. replied:

Mary D. replied:
Never had a problem at NR! Love Dr. Cohen! He has always been right on!!
Donna D. replied:
I love Pomona Peds. Hated Dr. Satran. He talks down to you and treats you like you are stupid. Would never recommend him to anyone.
Kelly M. replied:
We love Pomona peds, specifically Dr Weismann.
Dianne H. replied:
Pomona Peds is the best!
Marion H. replied:
It has changed so much since Dr Laub retired. I think all these new young doctors changed lots of policies. My bill isn't even from Nr Pediatrics anymore.
Deborah R. replied:
Dr Andew Satran964-9800 great with the kids, always gets back to you and the care is consistant he is on rt 202 across from chase you would be very happy
Paula E. replied:
Marion they have been with Westchester Children's Hospital for a while now, even when Dr. Laub was there.
El K. replied:
I've been taking my daughter to them for 16 years and they've always been great. The office staff was never rude to me. And like several other people said, Dr. Newmeyer is the best.
Kortney S. replied:
I love North Rockland Pediatrics! I left Bardonia to go to them. Front desk arent the friendliest so I can see the issue but the doctors are great IMO
Deborah R. replied:
the number is 364-9800 sorry
Janet G. replied:
Pomona Pediatrics...Dr. Evan Weissman is great!
Joe T. replied:
Dr. Satran across from the new dunkin donuts on 202 and 45 is really good. This is where we went after we got fed up with north rocklands snobbery and crap.
Angela A. replied:
Dr Kanef was my Doctor. 'd him. I have taken all three of my kids to NR peds and never had a problem. The $10 fee is nothing new they have charged this for awhile. If there was no charge everyone would call them every time they needed a copy for sports or school records. It's an office policy and the Staff is just doing their job. If you like the Doctors than I would say you should call to discuss it with them.
Noreen F. replied:
I have used NR Ped for over 23 years. A call in the middle of the night was always returned immediately, careful attention to all three of my girls over the years has never been disappointing no matter which doctor we saw. The staff has always been pleasant, especially the older nurses.
Jennifer C. replied:
Pomona Pediatrics! Never a problem in 13 years w/ them!
Janet P. replied:
Pomona Peds!
Eileen D. replied:
Pomona Peds!
Noreen M. replied:
I went there for about a year and I found the office staff to be extremely rude and unhelpful. I switched to Dr. Maureen Cooney and I have never looked back. Dr. Cooney is in Nyack but she is fantastic, caring and so easy going.
Germaine R. replied:
Dr Weissman, Pomona Pediatrics. He picked up on my son's heart murmur
Alan R. replied:
We left NR Peds for Pomona Peds
Catherine M. replied:
Dr Satran is very good .
Sherri S. replied:
I was not happy with North Rockland Ped's.Iove Pomona Pediatric in Pomona.
Carol H. replied:
Dr Satran
Sarah L. replied:
We LOVE Dr. Satran (Advanced Pediatrics)
Angela H. replied:
I've never had an issue getting forms or records with NR Peds. I do know they wont fax paperwork due to HIPPA policies, though.
Suzanne A. replied:
Dr Janice Montague in suffern is the best
Jennifer A. replied:
13 years with NR Pediatrics and they've always been great. Each doctor has been great and the office runs smooth even when hectic. I think they got alot of people looking for last minute paperwork and people not coming to visits and getting shots on time and then wanting everything rushed.. That may be why they don't always bend over backwards with that kind of stuff.. More than likely you'll find an issue with any doctors office at some point but if you like the DOCTORS, stick with it..thats most important.
Denise L. replied:
Used Clarkstown Peds with both my kids (now 35 & 29) and my granddaughter uses them.
Marilyn C. replied:

Andrea P. replied:
She has gone above and beyond for me, so I am very grateful and dedicated to her. She literally saved my son's life at 17 months old. she made us go have him checked at PM Pediatrics because something was very wrong. After some tests, we found out he was diabetic. We were rushed to Westchester Medical. The dr's said had we waited until the morning, we might not have had him.
Colleen C. replied:
Dr. Ken Zatz in Nyack is the best ... Been using him for 23 years love his staff also
Laurie B. replied:
Pomona Pediatrics ... Good hours... Great docs and staff is pleasant ... Not grumpy!! You also don't have to wait hours in the waiting room...

Nicole M. replied:
I think Moonlight Pediatrics in Suffern is open on Sundays. I've never been there but have heard good things about them.
Patricia B. replied:
Palisades Urgent Care Nanuet and Healthmed Plus Suffern ( Healthmed takes you only if your plan doesn't make you choose a primary doctor)
Bethmary P. replied:
Is kids plus were Dr. William Bernstein is. If I may ask why you left there.
Meagan H. replied:
Yes. When my son was born I asked foe Dr Bernstein. Instead we had to use Dr mary. My son was born at 9 lbs 8 oz a big boy!! At his 6 month check up he weighed 21 lbs. We do not overfeed him and at this point I was home with him 24/7. I look very young and every time we went in there she made me feel as if I didn't know what I was doing and told me I needed to put him in a diet!!! She wanted me to cut out all formula and just give him baby food and water. She also said he tripled his birth weight at this point and didn't listen to me when I said he was NOT a 7 lb Baby. We also had problems with the billing department and our insurance when I went in there to try and sort things out, the woman told me that she had just come back from lunch and had too many things to do that she already didn't feel like doing so I had to come back again and talk to someone else. That was the end of us going there. A fire d recommended Bardonia peds and I only have great things to say about them.
