I buy the extended warranties. I've had to have new appliances serviced many times at this house over the past 6 years! A&E was terrible! We had trouble from scheduling, delivery of parts and workmanship. We demanded that the warranty company send someone else out and DEPENDABLE MAYTAG (630-369-0888) came out and did a fine job. I'm not sure how expensive they are because our warranty covered everything. I have not had trouble with my appliances since. I'm knocking on wood!
