Honestly, Amici's has the best italian food around. I'd go there over a North End restaurant. It's not fancy, but you can get a glass of wine or a beer. Second choice would be Il Forno in Littleton - I haven't been to the new location, but I went to the one in Acton many times, and it was really good. Love that you can BYOB, and they always have really inventive specials.
