Dr. Atchley is a wonderful dentist, I have been going to him since I was a teen and my daughter all of her life, she is 17 now. Absolutely wonderful dentist. Dr. Atchley would probably reccomend a orthodontist, he works with several. Their number is 847-1234, located in Hermitage by the Brandywine neighborhood.

Let me put it like this. My son went to Snodgrass a total of 5 times for scheduled cleanings. Not once did he see the same dentist (None of which were Snodgrass or King), and every single dentist had a different opinion about the age that my son should have that little piece of skin above his top front teeth clipped. We switched to Zoo Crew a year ago and I'm sad I waited that long. Dr. Larson@Zoo Crew is phenomenal. That's just my story and I'm only one person, but I think it's important to share. Having toys and video games in the lobby mean nothing to me when it comes to my child's dental health. Good luck in your search.

Snodgrass & King is the WORST dentist office in America. Switched my kids to Zoo Crew Pediatric Dentistry & they are FANTASTIC. You will love it. They have an office in Hermitage & Mount Juliet. Oxford Orthodontics is a great operation also.

Jasen Riherd, I would recommend Providence Family Dentistry to ANYONE! They are fabulous and do orthodontics as well. I have been going for about 10 years and my kids have gone since age 2. They are WONDERFUL with kids and will work you in with no problems if it is an emergency. I use Dr. LaFEVER but have seen Dr. Gunnels too and he is great as well. Zoo Crew. My son had to have a baby tooth pulled. I was in the room, the Dr. was wonderful and my son did not get upset once, he did not even realize he was getting numbing shots. My son is 10. I was really happy with the whole experience. I was nervous, but we picked the best place.

Providence dental has both an orthodontist and general dentist. They are great with my kids, have a tv for them to watch during exams so that they're a little distracted and Dr. Gunnels is very kind and the staff are always welcoming and treat you with respect.

Snodgrass is a nightmare. We switched to Zoo Crew and Dr. Larson is amazing. My kids used to scream at Snodgrass and they never cry at Zoo Crew. Friendly hygienist too.

We went from Snodgrass (who likes to pull teeth), to Zoo Crew. I think the Mt Juliet office is probably less crowded than the Hermitage office. We always waited more than a half hour at the Hermitage office and I feel like it was somewhat of a cattle call. My daughter was recently referred to Brian Byrnside. I liked him a lot. His office is spotless and soothing. His staff is very friendly and organized. Dr Byrnside kept me informed of my daughter's procedure and made her comfortable. A dental visit is not high on a kids "fun" list, but we both left laughing! That's a keeper in my book!

Definitely Zoo Crew! Dr. Larson is awesome. I've never taken my kids to Snodgrass, however, it was because of all the horror stories I was told by family and friends.

I would like to add that the Zoo crew was great about filing the insurance. I hate when any Dr. office give you an estimate and then come up with additional charges to make money off of people. Delta Dental can get very close if not exact estimate for the dentist. The Zoo crew was great about telling me what the cost was and they did not add additional charges, unlike another dentist in town, which is one of the reasons we changed. IT was a blessing in disguise changing because Dr. Larson was amazing with my son during his procedure.
