Kitchen Bar in Poleg Industrial area is very good - it's on Giborei Israel and there's loads of parking outside but you're advised to book a table as it gets busy and is popular.

Gehalim in the Y Centre in the Poleg New Industrial estate (next to Bleekers) is Mehadrin. Ikea - both the dairy cafe, meat restaurant (great Swedish meatballs) and take-away downstairs are all Mehadrin! There is a take-away in the old industrial area on David Pinkas and corner of Shechterman called Mizrachi Catering - Friday shabbat meals/takeaway is excellent and I believe they serve meals during the week.

Artichoke is a great restaurant, some of their pastas are dairy free, and they have a delicious vegan moussaka thing- baked eggplant and zucchini and techina, delicious salads. Even I eat there and I am hard core :) https://www.facebook.com/pages/%D7%90%D7%A8%D7%98%D7%99%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%A7/349995931773589

Are there restaurants that are open in Netanya on Shabbat (especially around Independance Square), and are there any fun things to do for kids?
Shirley H. replied:
Shtempher is also open - the one with the black umbrellas. Also in the kikar near The London is The Scotsman. The kids can run around without fear of being hit by a car.
