[New Haven Farms](http://www.newhavenfarms.org) is a local non profit that manages several urban farms in New Haven. They provide food for local residents with health issues and local restaurants as well. They also have a compost program called Peels & Wheels that collects your food scraps weekly from your home. The compost is used at the farms and also given back to the people who contributed. They may be open to taking some of your mulched leaves for free. Contact them through the site!
