I'm serious about this. If you can, check out the New Canaan Thrift Shop. The tony patrons donate beautiful suits perhaps worn once or twice. Slim sizes are more abundant than larger sizes. The best shopping is just after Christmas when people donate things they received as gifts and have never worn--?the tags are still on the clothes, including Brooks Brothers.
