Can anyone recommend decent, reasonably priced restaurants in the New London/Groton/Waterford area? I know they are pretty small compared to the larger CT cities, but I...

Groton Town House, The Shack (last I went in it was cash only), and Goldy's is alright.

Northern India in downtown New London has spectacular chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. (If you're not familiar with Indian, these dishes are not spicy (unless you ask). I don't work in NL any more but when I need a fix, I drive 45 minutes just to eat there.

The Seahorse in Noank has good food at decent prices. In Mystic, I like the Ancient Mariner and the Boathouse. Groton has great BBQ at Chesters.

You all are great! Thanks so much for your recommendations!
Ju's Sushi in Groton. It's relatively cheap if you're into sushi.

Right down the street from the CGA is Mr. G's, a really good pizza place / (older) locals hangout. From the CGA, it's about a 45 second drive.

Depends on what you're looking for... For Chinese and sushi there's both Chinese Kitchen in Groton and Singapore Grill in New London, for seafood it's hard to beat Captain Scotts in New London but Goldy's (also in New London) is really good too, for general American variety Groton Town House is great, and if you're looking for a bar & grill type place check out The Exchange, Bulkely House, and Hot Rods on Bank St in New London

Ortega's in Groton! It's really good Mexican and pretty affordable compared to other Mexican places.

There's a ton of restaurants and pubs on bank street and state street in new London (from the garde arts theater down to the train station and along the river) its all pretty good and well priced. Speaking of pub food, the few times I got food at the harp and dragon in Norwich it was excellent. There's also east coast tacos in niantic for the best in Mexican (though its more of a taco stand than sit-down restaurant with waiters). The black sheep in niantic. Margaritas in mystic.... I'm realizing I really like to eat at pubs.
Does anyone know of any restaurants that are hiring? Or administrative work? A friend of mine is looking for a new job. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
