Dr Rahmati860-355-1550 Hands down he's awesome.
Amy R. replied:
For a regular optometrist, Dr. Kane in New Preston. If you are looking for an ophthalmologist then Dr. Rhamati.
Sue G. replied:
Dr. Kane...860-868-2020...he is the absolute BEST. I have been going to him for 35 years:)
Mia B. replied:
You've got some great ones in this area. Dr Rhamati in NM, Dr Kane in NP and Dr. Margaret Marconi of Danbury Eye Physicians. Actually any dr in DEP is awesome and they have a satellite office on Park Lane. Notice I'm not recommending the one near WM...very bad experience there. And have never used Opticare.
Looking for recommendations on a thorough optometrist for both glasses and contacts. Nearsighted with astigmatizum and now trouble reading. TIA.
Amy D. replied:
Dr. Moore at Target Optical is great. I also have astigmatism, and he fitted me with the right contacts for it.

If you're looking for an ophthalmologist, any of the doctors at Danbury Eye Physicians in the plaza across from Bel-Air. I personally like Dr. Zuckerman. Very nice & extremely thorough. If all you need is an optometrist, everyone raves about Dr. Way.
Janet V. replied:
Dr Elder for years with glasses and contacts at Opticare
I actually bought my first pair of Tri-focal progressive, transition, antiglare, antiscratch etc...from the store@Danbury Eye Physicians for over $700.00...which I promptly lost! My friend dragged me to COSTCO where I got the EXACT same glasses for $239.00. I've had them for over 2 years with absolutely problems or complaints. I'll stick with COSTCO for my glasses.

Amanda H. replied:
Dr. Way private eye. It takes awhile to get in because he is so popular. But worth the wait. He is through and doesn't rush you out the door.

How far are you willing to drive? I love Ridgefield Family Eye Care since they are usually ahead of the curve on technology. And they are incredibly personable.
