Liuzza's by the track, right off Esplanade. BBQ Shrimp to die for and great gumbo. Also They can catch the ferry at the foot of Canal St. to Algiers and The Dry Dock Cafe is right there. Nothing fancy but good and it's a great view of The Quarter from the west bank and the ferry.

Crabby Jack's is likely a bit of a hike, but a good suggestion. As a local, we like Maspero's, but they don't serve poor boys. Their corned beef is good, as is the calamari. Johnny's is a better choice, IMO. I've also heard the praises of Verti Mart sung far and wide, but have never been myself. The Old Coffee Pot, as well, never been but heard about it most of my adult life.
Does anyone know of any food delivery services in Bossier? ie: Takeout Taxi or some other company that will deliver already prepared food?

Go Waiter. Janey Hammel Macey has used them.

Meals on Wheels is perfect for her. I sell all the food to the company that prepares the meals served from here to Baton Rouge. It's about 4000 meals per day. They are packaged in microwaveable trays like a Lean Cuisine. They are all healthy, flavorful meals that are planned by Registered Dietitians to meet the person's daily nutritional requirements. It's also a good opportunity for someone to check on her each day. If they feel like she needs some assistance, they'll make it happen. Call Bossier Council on Aging. It's not just for "needy" people by any means.
