I'm starting a Brewery Tour company and looking for some world-class NOLA Tour Guides Good Morning NOLA Redditors! After months of planning, I just received my permit...

Good luck! As one of those Tour Guide Guide writers, I think you'll do a great job with an untapped market!
dieyoupigfucker replied:
Maybe a dumb question but: what's the advantage of paying $200 for a bus tour when visitors can go tour the breweries themselves for free?
Cajun_Sensation_ replied:
$200 an hour? Do you get plastic surgery with every tour? Holy shit.
vasinvamoose replied:
do you mean 200 for the whole bus?
luckybuilder replied:
You'll have a lot of competition. Groupon alone has 40+ tour companies listed and quite a few that are similar to you for a bit cheaper.
nolaz replied:
Dude, make sure to let us know when you get up and going.
Icanfixyourcar replied:
What does Faubourg Rues mean? Is that a beer term?
Catcherjf replied:
My fiancé and I will be in town next Sunday for the saints/panthers game. I'm trying to find info on your tailgate tour. Are there still slots available? Do we meet somewhere?

Could the tour also include distilleries?

You'll make bank.

I think people will certainly take to an operation providing good beer, protection from street undesirables, and a designated driver. Furthermore, you'll be in an excellent position to provide [marijuana tours](http://coloradocannabistours.com/) whenever it's legalized. It's [quite a thing](https://my420 tours.com/) already. You just might have to wait a bit for that down here.

Are there alot of breweries in NOLA? Last time I went NOLA was the only one any good. I visited Abita, Tin Roof, Bayou Tech, Old Rail none of which are in New Orleans. Are there any other good ones?
nat_lite replied:
Does the tour guide have to drive?
isakdebruce replied:
Crescent City Homebrewers chartered a bus for a tour of the Northshore breweries. The group rallied 60+ individuals and had a great time. There is definite opportunity. I wish you the best in your new business.

I have a friend who's leaving Southern Prohibition to join Other Half brewery. We're taking his dog, so in the spirit of quid pro quo, I'm gonna ask him to recommend me. If he can vouch for my general ability to both drink and describe beer, I'll vouch for my own ability to both talk to people and somehow enjoy it!
504boy replied:
This is a fantastic idea congrats! I wish you would have come up with a more creative business name and non fleur de lis logo hehe. I suppose NOLA [insert what you do here] as a business name is here forever.
Can anyone recommend a good spa in the French Quarter? My friend is coming in and staying at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon...they're thinking massages/nails/pedis. Any...
