Hey #newwest who would you recommend to tailor a men’s suit? (Take in sides, take in pants) local preferred if possible.
Matt L. replied:
Nice subtle way of bragging about your weight loss. ;) I think there's a tailor at the top of 12th St. http://www.gastaldotailors.ca/Gastaldo_Tailors/Home.html

Can anyone recommend a really skilled seamstress or dressmaker? I need a wedding dress made.
Nadine G. replied:
Paula, I have a great dressmaker in a little whole in the wall shop at Old Orchard Shopping Center (Willingdon and Kingsway). Fenlin Tailors. Not cheap though. If you look at a picture I posted on Facebook under BCTel/Telus friends, I'm wearing an Asian outfit in a Goldie brown color. She made it. Her name is Fanny.
I'm in need of a good, reasonably priced seamstress in the Lower Mainland. Have a dress of my mother's that needs to be modernized along with a few other hemming things...
