Nyhomebirth.com lists many of the licensed home birth midwives in NY state, including the nyc area. It would be a great place to start with contact info. Their is a good-sized community of home birth midwives in nyc, so if you ask one that doesn't do hbac ask her for recommendations. ..

The Feminist Breeder had a successful HBAC after her VBAC. She blogged about all of it. She's also a doula. Go check her page out. To access her blog you need a membership, but it's worth it as she has great stuff on there.

Did you try the midwife I sent? There could also be a doula agency like Northeast Doulas closer to you. Check out an awesome organization in Manhattan called The Museum of Motherhood. You could even call them and I think their place on the UES is worth a visit. Good luck!
