True reflexology massage at Body & Mind Spa in Whitestone. A nail salon or "foot spa" doesn't have a licensed masseuse.

What would you recommend to help a client with vertigo?
In my experience reflexology and CST works but is there other alternatives?
David L. replied:
It can come from many different causes . This is just one form of help . http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/colorado-doctor-discovered-natural-way-to-treat-vertigo/ .
Tamara F. replied:
Their are different diagnosis of what is causing vertigo. One sunstantial one is a herpes simplex virus reactivation. I've found myself looking at the pathology of clients' conditions, which helps me connect/understand with the client. Medscape is where I choose to go, most often, or a University. It, also, helps me know how massage may help and cautions. http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/2149881-overview#a5

Anyone know any Reflexology programs in New Jersey? Any info is much appreciated :)
SherrilAnn S. replied:
International institute of reflexology offers seminars around the country and give CEUs too. They are the industry standard for reflexology since Eunice Ingam is the mother of modern reflexology and she started the institute. Her nephew, Dwight Byers still teaches seminars occasionally and he learned straight from her. I've had people ask me who I trained with because they want someone who has been through a serious school like iir not someone who just had a class in massage school. Google the institute's web site. It's really the best one out there if you are serious about becoming a reflexologist. I've been taking their training for 20 years because reflexology and chair massage make up 90 percent of my business.
