Silver Mine Home Inspections. They have offices in New Britain and Canton. I had my home inspection, water, radon, pest etc. I forgot my check book and he said he would take credit card for just my case. They spent 4 hours looking at eveything. I was impressed. I'm a Realtor in CT. I use quite a few home inspectors regularly but for the Greater Hartford area I would go with Schaefer Inspections. Tom Tussing is my preferred inspector there. 203.387.2131 I'll assume if you're in the Home Inspection process you already have an accepted offer. Has your Agent not given you a list of their own recommendations?

We just bought a house and used these guys: http://tigerinspect.com/ because we had a coupon. The guy knew his shit and explained a lot of stuff to us, but I've never used an inspector before so I have no idea if someone else would have been better.
