The dermatologists at UCI are wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Linden, Dr. Lemus and Dr. Mesinkovska. I would see any of these doctors in a heartbeat and have had the pleasure of working with all three of them. They take great care of their patients.

We see Dr. Channual at Island Dermatology in Newport. One of her specialties is skin cancer. I have been seeing her for 2 years and she has never offered any products, just skin exams/biopsies and recommendations for how to prevent melanoma and other types of cancer.

My dermatologist - Dr. Mathew Luxenberg (HB) has never pushed products/services and he always checks out all my skin and areas I'm concerned about. No sales pressure. Dr Ettefagh at Island Dermatology in Newport Beach. Specializes in skin cancer screenings. Removed several pre-cancer spots and one basal cell carcinoma from my nose. NEVER tried to sell me anything but I did buy a good facial sunscreen from them because I don't want anymore cancers. Love them!!

Follow up to my previous recommendation of Dr Ettefagh at Island Dermatology: if the dermatologist, who will remain nameless, had done a proper removal, would not have had to have Mohs surgery.

I absolutely love my dermatologist. Call and ask to make an appointment with Rita. Coastline Dermatology at 949-646-2311. I get skin cancer screenings once a year. I've never had any plastic surgery, Botox, etc., and they've never asked me if I want any. Rita does a full skin cancer screen and is so knowledgeable and professional. You'll love her!

She doesn't specialize in kids, but Dr Jacqueline Panko is a fabulous dermatologist. Seriously, one of the nicest people I've ever met. Great bedside manner. I had a major issue last year, and I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

He is in Bountiful, but John Robison is amazing. Not pediatric but he is GREAT with kids. Two of my boys have seen him. AND he has a great personality which for some reason is a trait that is lacking in most dermatologists:)

I found them when I had PPO. Then when I switched to UH HMO I was referred to them through my PCP whom belongs to the medical group Newport Family Medicine. I've seen Dr. Ettafagh. She owns the practice with her husband Dr. Nami who is also a practicing Dermatologist there. I've also seen the physicians assistant Daryl Tibbs and he's great too. http://www.islanddermatology.net/
