Definitely not pen mellyn! Took my little girl there and they ripped us off big time! They said she was enemic but then wanted to do an X-ray on her, doesn't make sense! Take her to Newquay vets in trellogan x

Newquay vet on Trellogan, really good

Penmellyn is an absolute rip off. Clifton villa are OK but you never see the same vet. We use Newquay vet now at treloggon. He's really good. It's only him unless he's sick or on holiday so he knows the animals and he's the cheepest around.

Newquay Vet at Treloggan is the best. Will not rip you off and has twice not charged us extra for checkup, tried the rest and it's same vet here every time sonour Bandit has got used to him

Narrowcliff may be nearest, but try to get in at the Health Centre in town. It's further, but I have a lot of issues with Narrowcliff. And yes, Gentle Dental is your best bet.

I've heard good things about Newquay Vet at Treloggan, but we go to Penmellyn. I wouldn't recommend Penmellyn at all, we're looking at changing vets.

Think it depends on the actual vet you see as we were with Clifton Villas for years until we got pushed from pillar to post and never saw same vet twice with our old boy and moved to Penmellyn and never looked back. Both newer dogs with them

I love Penmellyn. I went to Newquay vets with my older dog and even though I had told them his problems they didn't do any blood work just had me try different meds. I ended up having to take my dog to Penmellyn emergency appointment where my difficult decision was made to have him put to sleep. Newquay vets were great and even let me do payments not on an official plan. Just paid them what I could when I could. They happened to not be open when my dog took a turn for the worse and I guess I should of pushed to have blood work done. It is personal choice though

Penmellyn are good but very very expensive, Clifton Villa are very expensive and not good and try to rip you off. We use Pelyn Vets at St.Austell who are as good if not better as Penmellyn with the same facilities and much cheaper. We also use Newquay Vet and he is great and very reasonable prices.

We moved here in May and wanted a good vets for our GSD Skye, we looked around and chose Newquay vets they are great x

I have been going to Penmellyn Vets for nearly two years with my dogs. I have found all the staff at Penmellyn to be very professional & caring. A couple of weeks ago, we had to take the heartbreaking decision to put down one of our girls, and we were treated incredibly compassionately, even been sent a commiserations card. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Penmellyn.
