Chiropractors are associated with woo and magical thinking because the founder of the practice thought that all of the ills of the world were due to spinal mis-alignment, rather than say, germs, diet or environmental factors. What you are after is ~~an osteopath or~~ a manipulating physiotherapist. I used to see a guy called Adrian Rumor, but I don't know if he is still practising out of Kaleen.

I've used "Move Happy" (Physiotherapist) in the past. Excellent results. The price is comparable to chiropractors, but tends to get better coverage from health insurance if you have it. If it needs to be 'cracked' they will crack it. They will give you exercises or recommendations to help you in future.

Michael at *Tuggeranong Chiropractic Centre* in Fadden is good, and the chiro's I saw at [Enhance in Mitchell](https://www.enhance.com.au/) were great. They're the ones who told me never to get chiro again because of an issue with a disk in my back.
