Anyone in the valley have a family physician they recommend. I am not sick I just need to pick one for my health insurance and I have no idea how to pick a good doctor....

I have probably the best GP on the Planet! Dr. Susan Danek on Haun in Menifee, is a true "healer". I consider her one of my best friends. All ages!!!

My general practitioner is Dr. Rolando Atiga in Temecula. I've had a lot of minor issues over the years. Stitches, impacted ear, tendon injures. He's handled them great. My aunt came up with breast cancer & he had me taking mammos at 39, & got it covered by my insurance. Has me taking certain meds since my dad got diagnosed with the pancreatic cancer, just to be safe. ...and... I had blood work by my doctors in LBC back in the day where numerous times I showed a whacked thyroid, only for them to have me REPEAT the test and have it come up normal a 2 nd time. Dr. Atiga is the one who instead ordered a more *specific* test and, sure enough, my thyroid is bad. I've been on meds now for 5 years and all these little things that used to bug me, turns out to be a result of the thyroid and now it's all fixed. I'm not saying he's a "healer" or this outstanding doctor. What I'm saying is, if you have only a few things to think about or just want a yearly check up to make sure everything is good, then he's a good choice. He doesn't just clock it in. He listens and tries to do what's best for you overall. BTW-- He also brings in residents from Loma Linda do their "intern hours". So, he's training future doctors. Over the years, I meet some neat guys & girls that way. It's kinda fun... and he hangs with them. It's not like he's letting them run things on their own. He's *teaching*.
Does anyone know of a good pediatric infectious disease doctor around here??? I am going to look into getting nickolas a referral to one becuase he is still wheezing...
