I used to work as A Pain Management Nurse in Palliative Care & also have worked in Renal Care. Unfortunately Ibuprofen can do a lot of kidney damage to someone already impaired & Panadol is the only thing that will be broken down by the kidney without doing any more harm. Tumeric is currently being hailed as a wonder drug, & I have no doubt about it. My son has lung disease & I currently, make a Tumeric Paste for him, as it has anti inflammatory properties. When I am time poor, I buy a paste from Erbachers at Diddillabah. He seems to have less issues when he has it daily. Be very careful otherwise with painkillers while having decreasing kidney function as can make it far worse

Try ringing Riverside Dental, 17 Thomas St, Noosaville QLD 4573 (07) 5455 5066 They are closed today but should have an emergency number for the dentist on call. Or give them a ring tomorrow and book an appointment to see Nathan. Hope your friend is ok ......
