Bimmer's Service Center in Kennesaw does a good PPI...if you ever need a personal BMW tech after purchase, let me know (he doesn't do inspections because the shop is just too busy, but he's a fantastic service tech, has babied my wife's X5 and my ZCP since we've owned them).

Northridge auto... They are in the Moes/ Dunkin donuts plaza just off exit 6 of 400. They don't do body work but can recommend someone. I live up in Alpharetta and won't take my car anywhere else. They can steer you to a good body shop.

Cornerstone Automotive in Chamblee or Auto Master Tech in Lawrenceville for the mechanical work. I don't know of a body shop. There is one on PIB above Pleasant Hill that Allstate used years ago for my Rodeo. It's Sterling Automotive. But I don't know anyone else who's used them recently. I was VERY happy with them six years ago.

I know it's not right in your area, but I mashed my car a year or two ago and went to Alfa Collision in Roswell ( www.alfacollision.com ) and my car awesome. Can't tell AT ALL. The owners name is David. I recommend them HIGHLY! The are on Rt. 9/Alpharetta Hwy, just north of Mansell Rd.
