Here's a quick run down of what you can do about the battery. 1. Lower the brightness as much as you can stand, turn off Bluetooth if you do not use it, turn off background app refresh on apps that don't need it, turn off location services that don't need it. See if your battery life improves. 2. The battery gauge is just an estimation. You can recalibrate it by letting the phone run completely dead and charging it back up to 100% in one go. 3. If it's a 5 c it should be less than a year old and still be under its factory warranty. Call Apple care or take it to apple. They can run a diagnostic on it and if it comes back as failed go get yourself a free battery. 4. If all else fails and apple say the battery is just consumed you can get the part for $30 on the Internet and some one like me can probably do the labor for another 20 bux.
