Dr. Neil Lawrence at the Callander Animal Hospital is awesome! We see Dr. Morris in North Bay for our dentist. Not sure if she's taking new patients or not. She's on Cassells.
Deanna W. replied:
Dr Neil Lawrence at Calandar Animal Hospital.I go to a dentist in North Bay...Dr. Rod Johnson...great with us "fraidy cats"!! The doctor issue might be more difficult...could check with Powassan Medical Center. I had to find one a few years ago and had to go through Ontario Health Care Connect and they found us a local doctor that was accepting patients.
Brenda D. replied:
Check with the Nurse Practitioner Clinic about being a patient. http://www.nbnplc.com/
Allison Q. replied:
Not sure if these doctors are still taking patients or not but it's worth a shot: http://northernshoresmedical.com/
Helen V. replied:
Welcome to the community. Dr Houghton is great and the clinic has a nurse practitioner too.
Hi! We just moved here on Friday. Im looking for somewhere to sharpen my sons hockey skates.
Also looking for recommendations for a vet, orthodontist, family doctors...
Cheyenne P. replied:
Dr. Paleczny is a fantastic orthodontist
Katelyn S. replied:
I second Dr. Paleczny for an orthodontist but hes in North Bay. There arent many family doctors taking on patients. Your best bet is to sign up online and you will be on a waiting list for one. https://www.ontario.ca/page/find-family-doctor-or-nurse-practitioner

Cassells animal hospital. My family has been going there since the late 80's/early 90's. Never had a problem with them. Dr Bachalder and Dr Campbell were fantastic, and they've since passed the surgery on to Dr Marquette, who is also amazing. I cannot say how much I appreciate them.
Carole H. replied:
If you want in North Bay. ..Bay Animal Hospital,Dr Karkanis is also a Chiro for pets.

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a vet in the Bracebridge/Gravenhurst area that does reasonably priced kitty cat neuters? I can't find fees listed online...
Terri K. replied:
We use Dr. Ibrahim at Animal Hospital in Gravenhurst 705-687-6663. We have been going there for years, we think he is great and good prices too!
Jessica H. replied:
I love taking my pets to Dr.Ibrahim but when I got my last cat neutered I used the OSPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic in Barrie
Julie F. replied:
We took our dog to the OSPCA in North Bay, since the Barrie clinic had a 6 month waiting, whereas the North Bay Nueter/ Spay clinic had an only one week wait. Here is the link with their fees. http://www.northbayhumanesociety.ca/programs-services/fix-your-pet/2014-fees/
Winter C. replied:
Thanks everybody! We are now on the OSPCA waiting list. About 3 months, they are saying. But for regular vet services, we'll probably choose Dr. Ibrahim since he's gotten so many good reviews.:)
LindaMay W. replied:
Yup Dr Ibrahim is your Vet. Best of person care and needs. Be prepared to be told if your pet is neglected by you. He will put you on the right tract. No demand of this once a year wellness fee after you have just been there. Especially after a surgery. He does not waste your money or his time. His fees can stay lower as he is not a big fancy new building with high cost lobby. It is a family run office. Good luck.
Michelle M. replied:
We use Dr Ibrahim as well he is fantastic but we just the spay with the Ospca It is about a 6 month wait but the price is well worth it.
TL C. replied:
I would recommend going to Centennial Animal Hospital in Bracebridge. Their prices are better then Bracebridge Animal Hospital but the best advantage of going is that you have the after hour 24/7 vet service on call. Anywhere else if you have an after hour emergancy you would have to drive to Barrie. I would take that into consideration. They are friendly, compassionate and an amazing team !
What's the best affordable vet in sudbury that you would recommend for a bullmastiff? And does anyone know how much it is around to get a puppy get his shots and get...

Susan D. replied:
Parkside Animal Hospital is amazing- fair rates, very caring staff. Phone number 705-223-3404
Karen P. replied:
Callander Animal Hospital, they are awesome and give discounts on multiples if done at the same time, great prices too!
Nicole T. replied:
I love the Callander clinic
Laurie M. replied:
Blue Sky in my opinion is the best, I have been dealing with them for over ten years,
Meghan A. replied:
I took my male to Airport Animal Hospital. They match the human society's price on the nurture and it's an extra 78$ if he needs his shots. I had a good experience with them... my little guy came home happy ( tho alittle drugged) and his pain levels didn't seem to be high as he was back to his normal self with in a day
Marie-France T. replied:
I go to Airport Animal hospital for my cat
Em M. replied:
Parkside Animal Hospital on Lakeshore
Kristina-Aidan H. replied:
Thanks for the input everyone!! Callandar is a bit far for me to get to. I'll probably checkout Parkside or stick with Blue Sky!! Thanks again!:)
Darlene E. replied:
Cassells Animal Clinic!!!!
Noƫlla F. replied:
Ive been to callander, blue sky and airport road, blue sky and callendar were both excellent "callander" is a little pricy thought but very nice people ive had offial experiences with airport it is the cheapest in north bay other then the humane society but the quaility of the spay/neuter sure shows it. I would suggest stay at Blue Sky both vets there are wonderful!
does anybody know how much it cost to get a female cat fixed at the timmins vet?
Paul N. replied:
Though looks like North Bay raised their prices a little but still way cheaper then here! http://www.northbayhumanesociety.ca/programs-services/fix-your-pet/2014-fees/
Becca B. replied:
My cat was mature when she got fixed and it was about 2 years ago, we went to Dr. Butter worth and paid about 400 for everything including shots.
Michelle H. replied:
The sooner you bring her the cheaper it will be, don't bring her to the one in south porcupine they will try to take advantage and charge you up the ass. Bring her to Dr. Butterworth
Diane B. replied:
Algonquin Animal hospital told me a few months ago $400 for female and for a male cat $300

Hey
I need some info on where to have my dog put down BOO
Courtney C. replied:
Personally the vet at BayCity Animal Hospital
Monika L. replied:
We had our poor 18 year old baby put down with so much respect at the Callander Animal Hospital and they prepared her for burial as well .... Reasonable rates ...
Dawn B. replied:
Cassells Animal Hospital is where I go, and have for years. I would never go anywhere else. Both Dr. Marquette and Dr. Campbell, and their staff, have spent an enormous amount of time treating our Yorkies and holding our hands and our hearts when we have lost them. Dr. Campbell is retired now, but Dr. Marquette is still there of course. As a matter of fact I had to take one of my furbabies in today. Cassells Animal Hospital is wonderful IMHO.
Debbie C. replied:
Dr John Cole of Trout Lake Mobile Vet is whom I used when I had to put my 18 yr old furbaby down - in our home,in his bed in his favorite spot .
Dona B. replied:
I found the vet@Algonquin Animal Clinic vet reasonable & very carring for the amimal.
Does anyone know of a Canadian company, that I can buy drops for worms for my cat ? I get them from the vet., but I know what I need & I really don,t want to have to...
Leslie M. replied:
Airport Animal Hospital is $55 for the exam and the medication for worms depends on their weight I think
