Happy anniversary! Northland I would say Cafe des Amies (no Royals game there though!) or Trezo Mare. Also Ixtapa. If the owner is in and you are game for being a little adventurous, they will give you a really cool experience and I think could do Mexican while also accommodating your husband's food sensitivities.
