Any suggestions for dentists semi local who preform more reparative work? My son cracked a molar and it's been very difficult finding a pediatric dentist who will repair...

None of the dentists listed are pediatric dentists. I’m not sure if u specifically need a pediatric dentist, but Dr Leslie Olton has a pediatric office in East Providence. There may be a good reason why it can’t be repaired. Sometimes repairing isn’t the right choice and dentists have to make sure, just like physicians, that they are practicing ethical, evidence based care.

Dr G is a family dentist which would include children. If you are looking for a specific pediatric dentist V used to see Dr Lasser who is in Cranston. He was wonderful too!

Dr Lewis in EG. Right on rt 2 Great hygienists and TVs on the ceiling!
Rachel P. replied:
Shelagh Newton Michaud they are pushing ortho earlier to actually use more intervention techniques. It's not that dentists are "pushing it," they are starting to see early intervention is saving time, $$, and maybe better outcomes for the kids when issues are caught too late

Well...Thundermist in Wakefield is a "clinic" but it is also a great place for kids. My kids always LOVED going there. I HATED going to the dentist when I was a kid. I love Dr. Prosseda..He's down to earth...has kids himself...very gentle with the litt le ones! The hygienists are great as well. You CAN also walk in...if you have an emergency..you'll have to wait, but it is an option. Because it is a clinic..they take most insurance carriers and also will let you pay on a sliding scale if you need to.
Maryah C. replied:
We use Dr. Lewis. Love that office. They also text you reminders on your appointments
Shelagh M. replied:
Dr. Lewis has been great. Love that she is not steering us toward braces...they might be needed in the future, but isn't pushing the early braces like I've heard other dentists do.
Kacie C. replied:

Dr. Lewis. My daughter was extremely nervous and they were fantastic with her. Plus the tv's on the ceiling were a nice distraction. She loves going to the dentist now.
