Hi, I am hoping to adopt a dog soon and am still fairly new to the area. Any suggestions for vets that have decent prices, good hours and that are NOT bully breed...

North Kingstown Animal Hospital, Maxon Balmforth Is a caring vet who care more for your pet then the almighty buck.
Dace K. replied:
Dr. Liz Hassinger at Wolf Rock animal Wellness Center. She does have a long wait time for the first appointment but is reasonable afterwards. She takes as long as necessary for each client. I wish that I had as well rounded and dedicated of a healer for myself!
Sheila C. replied:
North Kingstown Animal Hospital, Dr Max took care of every pet we have had beginning when he worked at the Warwick Animal Hospital on Elmwood Ave before opening his own in North Kingstown.

Robin M. replied:
Dr. Bowater783-5250. She is amazing and the most wonderful staff ever. I call and they help me on the phone and always take my kids. You'll be glad you choose her. I've tried most of the locals and am thoroughly unimpressed. And I wouldn't go to the NK animal hospital if it were the only game in town
Anne C. replied:
Village Vet is terrific, fair pricing and they inform but don't push add ons. They also work with the NK Animal Shelter and are simply wonderful with my neighbors older bully breed (that has some challenges). Have lived in several states so lots of vet experiences and both the vet and his staff are high on my list of favorites.

Yes I generally call Dr Davidson twice but he gets back to you and I just plan ahead knowing I won’t see him for a week or so. Obviously he is not for emergencies but he is great at what he does!

Joyful Grooming in Exeter is a shop that works with elderly and special needs pets. Lots of safety features and equipment in the salon with a loving staff!!
Someone mentioned here a business in NK or nearby where you can wash your dog. Not a pet salon, but where you use their tub, shampoo, water, etc for $10 I think. Does...

Looking for recommendations on a pet grooming location in or around north kingstown. I have two medium sized dogs that get really anxious when going to the groomer.
Karen K. replied:
Avoid Petco. They're being sued for harming animals while the animals are there for grooming. https://consumerist.com/2016/11/23/couple-claims-petsmart-groomers-fatally-injured-their-dog/

Since my request for a dog groomer was so successful (thank you), does anyone have recommendations for a reputable alarm "guy"?
Theresa S. replied:
My work uses p&j alarm which merged with electronic alarms a few years ago. They do commercial or residential. http://m.electronicalarms.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.electronicalarms.com%2F&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F#3003
