I would try to get an appointment with Dr Spitzer (Endocrinologist)@Valley medical group in Easthampton. I've worked with him in the past and he is really good.

essentially your body creates Thyroid Stimulating Hormones, but your thyroid does not utilize the stimulating hormone to produce thyroid hormone. I would check with an endocrinologist. I suggest the endocrinologist because the the thyroid is major part of the endocrine system. Thyroid hormone is the real growth hormone but was discovered after growth hormone which is why it is not called growth hormone.

I'd suggest Dr. Brummer in NoHo or one of the Drs at Northampton Wellness, you can your regular doctor to refer you to them. I have been dealing with Hashi's for years and would be happy to chat/email with you about it.

Look at the list of people at Jefferson's Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine. They have a great roster and I have been a patient and taken mindfulness courses through them.
