What don't you like about Dr. Cumings at Denkai?
Taryn C. replied:
Elder Pet Care in Fort Collins. The vet there is caring and wonderful and the place runs off of donations in order to keep the cost low. Anyone with low income who cannot afford standard vet clinics are welcome, you don't have to be elderly and you don 't need to show anything to prove you are low income. Anyone can use their services at low cost. I used to take my dog there for years and they were great with her. For a full round of shots plus exam I paid like $25. Only thing is they are walk ins only, no appointments. They only set appointments if a surgery needs done. You can look them up on google and find their hours for when they are open for walk in. You just show up, but I recommend getting there early, and be prepared to wait. I waited almost 2 hours to get in once. It's worth the wait though for the price.

Dr. Cummings almost killed my service dog. I asked her to do a gram stain test on a bacterial infection my girl got from a stick wound in April of last year and she refused. Dr. Cummings represcribed cephalexin to my dog after I had told her it's not working. I did research and knew already that 95% of the time stick wounds are related to tetanus not staph.

MaxFund Wellness Clinic is another one. I also recommend using Care Credit. It's a great resource!
Anybody have any recommendations of a reasonably priced vet in the Northglenn area where we can take Lucy for her puppy shots?

I know it is a little further but we love Brighton Animal Hospital. They were great when one of our dogs was sick and their shot prices were some of the best we could find. They are on hwy 85 and Bromley Lane. I can give you their number tomorrow if you want it.
