Pet sitter Melissa (http://petsittermelissa.com/), who lives in Revere is great. Basically a dog proof house, dogs get a lot of space and exercise, and she's not expensive (35 per day for normal dogs, 40 for medical/special needs). She also has cats and takes care of cats, if that is a problem. We've used here probably close to 10 times. She's a vet tech too which is a plus. Otherwise consider finding someone through rover (https://www.rover.com/).

I live in Quincy and work further down the south shore. I take my dog to A Fox and Hounds in Norwell. https://www.afoxandhounds.com/ He goes to daycare there once a week and we've boarded him for over a week at a time a few times- I highly recommend checking it out if the south shore is doable for you.

Yelp is a really good place to look as you'll likely find someone right in your neighborhood. I found a lady literally two buildings down from mine for cat sitting and she's great!
