Well, if she's not so into the natural birth side of the spectrum she might find some of the folks there off-putting, but you can start with Blossom Birth in Palo Alto. Hospital stats are easily looked up: there are only 4 or 5 hospitals in San Mateo county, but the SF county hospitals are pretty close to San Mateo and Stanford or UCSF are the ones for high risk. I don't see an endo but I can recommend a gynecologist that focuses on PCOS. Her name is Dr. Alison Wu and she is at the Northwestern Specialists for Women. She may also be able to recommend an endo.

I really like Diana Zamojski, D.O., she is not an internist, but family practice. She's with Lawn Medical at 4301 W. 95 th St. There are other doctors in that practice that are also good.
