We just started going to Dr. Birdwell over on Laboratory Rd and the boys loved their office. The parents can go back with the kids unlike some of the other dentist offices here in O.R. And the dental hygienist ladies are really fun.

James Erpenbach in Knoxville is widely known for being super with children - plus he's honest and a great dentist. 584-8630 on Kingston Pike near the Papermill Rd exit - never had any trouble getting there.

I also had a bad experience with Dr. Pryor. Will never recommend him!!

I went to Dr. Bob untill I got too old and he kicked me out lol I loved him. Nothing ever hurt even gettting the numbing shots. I always looked forward to going to the dentist.

yes, that used to be my dentist as well when I was a teenager. I called a couple months ago to try to get them in & they were real nice & I spent like 15 minutes on the phone giving her all the information & stuff then she asks me about my insurance & said they don't accept Blue Cross. I thought that was crazy because like I said, i have never heard of anyone who doesn't take that.

Dr. Kennedy in Powell. He and his staff treat you like family! They are easy to work with, reasonably priced, new equipment... I could go on and on! We started seeing them when my son was 10. They make each and every visit a pleasure. At 14, my son still enjoys going to the dentist, as do my husband and myself!! I can't say enough good things about them! I forgot to add, we see Dr. Standsbury there too and he is a hoot! I think if you mention that someone referred you, you get 25 off. They are good, friendly people!

Mountain dental and the health department. The health department only schedules 30 days out they usually have some for stuff like this. Are these your foster kids Carolyn? If so tell them that and they will get you in ASAP.

That's normal wait time for dentists who accept Tenn care and for an exam without other issues.the health dept in Clinton is doing dentistry.you may wanna try there first.Dr Pryor in oak ridge is good but im sure youll need to make apts ahead of time

I had a similar experience with my son in NC. He was traumatized at 2 years old. They put him on a papoose board and you could hear him screaming. My husband and I will never forgive ourselves for letting that happen. When he was 5 I found a brand new dentist right out of school that was amazing with him. Dr. Bo in Knoxville now. So I know that wonderful feeling when you find the right dentist that will take the time. Wonderful news for your little guy!

I love Dr. Kerri Everson at division dental. That is also who my children use. The whole staff is wonderful.

I take my boys to Mountain Dental on Tulsa. We love it there

Mountain dental is great my kids started going there when they were like 8/9, before that the went to Dr. Harris. He is literally right next door in same building to mountain dental.

Knoxville pediatric dentistry. My grandkids went to Mountain dental. First one, age 6: after 6 months of complaining of teeth hurting, dentist said there was nothing wrong. Child ended up at Childrens Hospital having oral surgery. Now, no more pain and has enough room for permanent teeth, thanks to Knoxville Dentistry for Pediatrics. Child #2. Age 13. Dentis filled tooth. Child kept complaining of srnsituvity and returned 3 times because of it. Dentist said nothing was wrong. 9 months later, child ended up with root canal because it wasn't filled properly. Those are personal e xperiences. I know of several complaints from others that use to go there. Oh, most previous work had to be redone also.

Dr. Mike Mysinger. He is in west knoxville right off Kingston pike. He is mylann ' s dentist and a family friend. His staff is sooooo great with kids. Mylann has never even made a fuss at the dentist because his staff makes it so fun for the kids!

Dr Pryor is in oak ridge too. Cooper went to him before he got sent to a specialist because of his cleft lip and palate.
