The best tile installer that I have ever had the honor of meeting is Marlin Edinger. He is among the best in the trade. A true perfectionist and a wonderful man to know and support. If you are interested, PM me and I will provide you with further details. We went with tile that looks like wood and is nearly indestructible. We have had two major water floods and chose tile because we never want to have to trash the entire floor if it were ever flooded again. We have a dog and didn't want scratches in the wood.

Hite Carpet Center installed our hardwood and we have not had any problem with our pets scratching it. It is a little slippery for them, though, so we put down a couple of area rugs so they can jump up and down on the sofa without injuring themselves. Hite was great - quick and courteous and very professional, and the pricing was good too. They are local - corner of 196 and 193 (Macon Rd) near Piperton.
