There's a great website, fun4 gatorkids.com. They have all kinds of events and activities listed, and there seems to be a ton over the summer. I use Benton Pediatrics on 43 rd street. They have a website and can be found on google. We also use Hunter Family Dentistry. They are in Jonesville on Newberry Rd. They are a fairly new practice, but very friendly and honest about what work needs to be done vs what to keep an eye out for. Welcome to Gainesville!
Kara W. replied:
Welcome to Gainesville! fun4 gatorkids.com is a great resource. My 5 year old daughter loves going to Gainesville Rock Gym, Bouncin' Big in Newberry and the Museum of Natural History. Gainesville also has a ton of great parks. We use Gainesville Pediatric Associates (Drs. Boon & Grooms) and Kid's Only Dental Place. My son, Jackson, was born with a cleft lip and we have also spent a ton of time in the UF Pediatric Dental Clinic for his NAM device when he was an infant. They are also fantastic.

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings House and picnic in the park next to it. Dudley Farm Historic Site. Haile Plantation Historic Homestead. The Springs (Blue, Ginnie, Poe...). Devil's Millhopper state park. Hike through San Felasco state park. Bike on the Hawthorne trail or picnic at Bouleware Springs at the trailhead.

Fun4 gatorkids.com is the only website you'll need. It's awesome!
Charri B. replied:
We go to Alliance Peds and use Dr Michelle Massias. She is great, the staff is great and there are two other doctors there as well. They can get you in at the drop of a hat!
Barbara P. replied:
We use Healthy Steps Pediatrics. LOVE Dr. Ana <3 She has been so supportive with both of my kids. She knows I worry and when we found an issue to deal with with my daughter she was so helpful and comforting for my husband and myself. We have never waited long for an appt. We have never had an issue getting in for an appt. They call you back quickly when you call with a question and are great at getting you in same day if you need to have your little one seen. The whole office is extremely nice and efficient.
Stephanie W. replied:

Erika A. replied:
Alliance peds and Kids Only Dental are the best. Do Art and Corks n colors is a lot of fun no matter the age too.
Cheryl B. replied:
Dr. Kathleen Ryan-Pothier. Great. She is a pediat as well as an infectious disease specialist. we were going to one very good pediatrician (we thought) but his office missed cancer my daughter and didnt say the referral was an emergency so we almost lost our daughter. Dr.Kathleen will be very thorough and will ask around if she doesn't know. She has caught cancer and other health issues in lots of her patients in the early stage. My son is going to be 24 and still loves to go to her. So sorry my kids are out growing her office. She is sweet and really cares. .

My daughter is on the Autism spectrum as well. We don't vaccinate either. We see Nurse Practitioner Pammy Ball at Langley Health Center in Ocala. We love her, and my daughter receives other services she needs at Langley as well. We have had zero problems there with the "no vax" issue.
Hope F. replied:
I work for Gainesville Pediatric Medicine. We do not push vaccines just ask to get a religious exemption from the health department or we do Dr Sears schedule vaccines or whatever you want. Give us a call. 352-332-9940 Facebook is gainesvillepedmed
Saundra V. replied:
Listen y'all, agree to disagree. Regardless of your standing, this isn't up to you. They are not your children. And also regardless of if you think this choice puts your kids at risk, it still is not your decision. Kimberly King, my kids also go to fast track pediatrics. Dr. Udonlami is fantastic. I vaccinate, but he doesn't push if you tell him you don't. He's not American born, but his accent doesn't keep you from understanding him easily. So don't let the name throw you. He's done amazing work with my son whom is ADHD and ODD. Give him a try. He works with most insurances and Medicaid.
Sharon R. replied:
BTW- Dr. Lemire is in ocala off 200
Katie J. replied:
Dr.Franz in orlando (shes actually been interviewed by vaxxed), Dr.Mena in leesburg both MDs
Eddie L. replied:
Does anyone actually read or do we just judge on half information and insert our opinions in where they dont belong? The OP wanted Dr. Suggestions only not your opinions on her legal decision or to be called names. I have read posts here where people are actually berating and name calling. Come on Ocala grow up.
Jessica D. replied:
Dr. Tan in Leesburg is very good. It's a bit of a drive, but we love it there. They always get you in same day, for sick visits. I also hear premiere pediatrics is really good!! Good luck! He is also a neurologist, which is a plus.
Annelisa M. replied:
Dr. John Littell in Ocala Is fantastic. He has won many awards- served in the military for years as a doctor- and has even written a book called "the hidden truth" about fallacies and lies in the pharmaceutical industry. He shows how the Hep B shot at birth, and the HPV shots, are some of the biggest hoaxs in today's medical industry- and cause far more problems than good. He is pro- other vaccines but is totally okay if you choose not too or if you do delayed scheduling.
