I see Dr. Rogers at the Orthopedic Center in Ocala. Wonderful dr. I see him for my knees.

Dr Rogers is by far the best....his care concern and willingness to go above and beyond for his patients is beyond anything I've seen in my life..he did both my knees and even called from his vacation to Check on me.

You're right, Karen. He has a bad reputation. I know of 2 people that he really screwed up. I go to Dr. Kerina at Tri County Ortho, on 466 near Rolling acres road. Great reputation. Knees are his specialty. He was voted #1 Ortho doc in FL. in 2003!

Dr. Duke in Ocala... Have heard from many they would go back to him in a minute. My husband uses him and we have been completely satisfied. I have never heard of anyone that went on to have surgery that regretted it or had anything bad to say about Dr. Duke~~~

Naturally most reviews are good. I know of 3 people that Dr Nguyen has screwed up. 2 of them had to be redone twice. And another had a very bad infection. One elderly gent that I know was cancelled on the table because they didn't have the right parts! I was going to have him do my knees, but changed my mind. Also..his office staff are a bunch of dummies!! BUT..I do know of 2 guys who have had good results! Like everything else...sometimes it's hit or miss! I am now going to Dr Kerina on 466. All I've heard about him has been great! Dr Duke also has a good reputation!

Hi Rick, Dr. Kerina is with Tri County Ortho and he is excellent as is any of the other surgeons in the group. Worked for 8 yrs. on the surgical floor at the hospital and his group would definitely be my choice. As far as not getting through, I would call late morning or mid-afternoon; I have always had difficulty calls MD offices early in the day.

Bryan Botner in lsl is a new physical medicine doctor who can diagnose just not do surgery, he would refer out for that.

I had both of my knees replaced in July 2013 by Dr. Marc Rogers of The Orthropedic Institute in Ocala. Loved him and his staff. With Medicare I spent 20 wonderful days recuperating at Freedom Point. Highly recommend all! Good luck!

Try Dr Troy Lowell, some friends have used him under Worker's Comp (local cases but who knows).
