Vet with dental Insurance but cannot use unless service related. Change your insurance!!! What is wrong with the VA!!! And their benefits. Pass this comment to them... Retired vet why give dental insurance to them if they cannot use..Absolutely makes no sense!!!

I went to Dental School at UofF and got a ton of work done at about 1/3 less than I would have paid elsewhere. They are more than willing to work with you. They have facilities down in Ocala, but I went to the main campus in Gainesville. They were great.

Miss Lisa, have the VA write him a referral for Shands Dental. Then he can get in on an appointment and not have to go there and wait for the "Dental Lottery" Don't take no for an answer from the VA for the referral, make sure to get a paper copy of the referral for yourselves. Keep calling and resending in the referral to Shands to get the appointment (They have a habit of saying they didnt recieve a referral). Best of luck and Thank You to your husband for his Service

The Shands dental clinic in Gainesville also call west side baptist church in Gainesville: ask to speak to some one about the Good Samaritan Clinic; an oral surgeon runs this clinic; Sorry I used to have their number: good luck and prayers
