Anyone have any restaurants to recommend near Holden Beach? Nearby beaches or Shallotte, too.

San Felipe Mexican Restaurant...in the shopping area where Home Depot is

We love the Sea food barn, always great food, and no more of a higher price then anywhere else, and always great service! If you are in a small group Bettys is good, but with our experience if you have a group of more than 8 ppl your better off not to go to bettys! Sea Food Barn is always packed..so must be something about it!

The Seafood Barn.. It has something for everybody....Delicious food and the price is right...

Ocean Isle..Roberto's(upscale), Gigling Mackeral, Sharky's, The Isles...

Archibalds for Sandwiches. Catch them when they have crab cakes! Sugar Shack in Ocean Isle if you fancy something different. You won't go hungry! Capt Petes if you like upscale. However, nothing beats getting fresh fish, shrimp and etc from Capt Petes and fire up the grill! Spatula/tongs in one hand and a beverage in the other. Life is GOOD!!!!

I'll second the recommendation for Purple Onion in Shallotte. Hands down our favorite place to eat at the beach. (Asides from cooking the great local seafood and produce!) Also like Patronies and Silver Hill Grill if we just don't want to make drive to Shallotte.

Capt Pete's for upscale dining. Provisions and Paradise for great seafood sandwich's. Main St Grille. Purple Onion in Shalotte.

Inlet Bar and Grille off of Ocean Isle on the Shallotte River..... Upscale dining with Fabulous Views! It's a little pricey, but after trying them all in the past year since we moved here... it's the best. They have great grilled seafood. And the Blue Point on Oak Island is a very close second. They have the BEST mussels I have EVER tasted.
