Thanks Tara, we used them before, was so not happy with them. Dr. McKeon made Beky feel like she had no clue what she was talking about, basically told her there wasn't a problem at all with her knee, but just to please her (he said) we'll take an MRI, just to prove it. I tried changing doctors within the practice and they said I couldn't.

If you have oon benefits we work with them. You might want to call to see how it would work. If you decide 732-530-4949. He's the best!!! I would send my boys to him if needed.

Darlene I to love Dr Stankovits but he doesn't take any insurance unless you first see him in the ER then he does accept it. Don't feel funny using another Dr in the same practice if he won't accept insurance then that's when people do leave and believe me the Dr knows that. I had to leave our pediatric Dr after 16 years because out of no where he stopped taking insurance. With 3 kids going to him I just couldn't afford to pay out of pocket!! He was great to my kids were so sad!!

Thanks Lorri. I have used that place for my knee. I had Dr. Van Gelderen, unfortunately he couldn't help me with my knee problems so I need to find someone new. My doc had recommended Dr. Mulholland but feel funny going to the same practice but requesting a different doctor. Beky isn't having problems with her knee this time, it's her ankle, hurts to walk or put any pressure on it.

Most of the Ortho docs specialize in different body parts so don't feel funny. There is also Dr Gabisan who will work with your insurance at POA. He is a foot specialist and wonderful!!!

UPDATE: just want to thank you all for pointing me to Orthopedic Associates. Today I saw Dr. Gabasan. He was professional and so nice! He explained everything and decided that, for now, my arthritis knees can use cortisone shots to get the inflammation down. He used a spray to numb the injection site and I hardly felt a thing as the needle went in. Yes, really! LOL. If it works - yayy! If not, he explained the next step that we can do. I will see him again in 4 weeks to reassess. I feel very confident that it will get me back on my feet and confident and comfortable with Dr. Gabasan. So - Thank You!

I’m a Physician Assistant and I work at Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey. We have the OUCH clinic everyday from 5-9 pm and Sat 11-4 but we also see walk ins during the day from 9 am-5 pm.
