Pest control company recommendations? My house is infested with ants. Since I have a newborn and indoor cats, I've tried less hazardous/chemical-y ways to treat the ants...

spray around the outside of the house with termidor SC. It is a non repellent bait that the ants will take back to the nest. not hazardous to pets after it dries.

should have said that you will need to order this online. just google "do my own pest control" It takes a couple days to work, but the results will last a long time.

Thrasher has always been excellent for me, between roaches, spiders and rodents. Was always happy with their service

American Pest Control is a woman-owned-and-operated small business that handled our ant problems just fine. We had them coming every month for a long time, for maintenance, to spray outside the house and along the property line in back. Eventually they suggested we stop and it was several years before we saw ants inside the house again. Perhaps you will need only one treatment. They've got a few negative reviews on Yelp but we were completely satisfied with their work. I honestly can't remember if they sprayed inside the house the first time -- I think so, but if so it was only once -- but we had cats and a child too, and all survived.

Have you tried [**Ray's Pest Control?**](http://imgur.com/3UGZ9 b8) 100% organic ant colony destruction.

My parents have had ant issues and used pepper in the past, just pouring it over their trails. I think they had some success..

We use PRO PACIFIC. They're great with working around your schedule and will return to re-treat if you need them too (for free). We're getting the over 2 months treatment, our home was infested with ants as well. Their numbers went significantly lower after the first treatment, and completely gone since the 2 nd.
