Joes Greenhouse on main street between Layton & Kaysville has a great selection of vegetables and flowers and very reasonably priced. It is a little place on the east side of the road across from DQ. Valley Nursery in Uintah has an amazing selection of just about everything from trees to veggies to flowers and super knowledgeable people. I think Syracuse City will give you a list of what can be planted in park strips or it used to be on their web site if you are thinking of putting trees in there, Bradford pears used to be on the list and are absolutely beautiful in the spring.
