I have a training class at Focus Services that starts on January 13 th. It's minimum wage, but you could walk to work. As much as I hate to have people burn our training budget for a pay check, paid training is 3 weeks & 2 days before you need to be on the phones for CenturyLinkâ„¢, and if you work for 60 days, I still look good. Give me a call 801.458.8959

Sorry, just saw the dad comment. My friend Amy Childs had three kids to support and no degree and she made things work as a "Happiness Consultant" online-- a job she made for herself, after making her own website. She charged $100/hour. I think her site and story is at amychilds.com. If we can talk, Katrina, I think I can help you.

Yes and yes. Chris Rosdahl-the last few weeks have been dead on e-bay, so i got discouraged, maybe it will pick up a gain! I am a pretty darn good picker!

It looks like they haven't started hiring for it yet because its THAT new, so it would be best to put in your application as a fulfillment center candidate before they start hiring...The new center is in DuPont, WA. http://www.amazon.com/gp/jobs/ref=gw_m_b_careers

Katrina Whitney. Most employers are actually negotiable if you put them on the spot, but as the people being interviewed we feel inferior and we don't have them courage to stand up. You need to call them back and say that you will gladly accept the job but with a degree you require $10/hour. I negotiated my pay with my employer and I got my way. If they want you, that means you are their first choice. An employer will usually pay $1-$2 more if it means they will get their first choice. Stand up, be professional, and demand at least $10.
Meagan G. replied:
Katrina Whitney..what is your degree in?
Katrina W. replied:
Meagan Goodson-BFA-fine art/photography. I have worked as a studio photographer in Seattle for 17 years and when i left i was making almost 20 per hour. I also had my own wedding photography/floral business.

Lance couldn't post but sent me this message to past on to you.... "Hey I can't write on that status because I'm not friends with her. Let her know that the job is in the SLC area, close to I-215. Tell her to also go here: http://intermountainhealthcare.org/about/careers/explorecareers/Pages/home.aspx This is the main employer. I know they have openings from time to time in the Ogden area I also know its a long distance but they do carpool because there are others coming from her area"
Emily A. replied:
Ugh. I am so sorry. Amazon.com is hiring people to work from home as technical consultants and a very large Amazon distribution center is about to open near my home and I imagine they are hiring over a thousand people to work there. I will see if I can find a link to job openings. Washington state is a great place to live!
