Tom’s Barbershop on May & nw 27 th-ish is my go to. Always pleasant, great service, they have beer and reasonable prices. With a straight razor shave (head and beard) plus tip I’ll be out the door for $50 Scotch & Scissors in Chisholm Creek

Weldon Jack has never let me down, they're at 36 th and Western. Cuts are around the price range you're looking for pre-tip.

Lakeside Barber Shop Down off May St. A little past 63 rd. Across from Blue7. Go see Derek. Brian is pretty solid as well. Also, on Thursdays, cuts are $12. For classic men's cuts, it's legit

Well, unfortunately I cannot give any immediate suggestions (I live with a hairstylist, so I can usually count on her). BUT there is new shop called Weldon Jack by The Society which should be opening soon on 36 th and Western. It looks like it will be a place you need to check out in the future for hair shortening

Duncan Brothers. It's up by penn square mall. Expensive (~40?) but worth it. Shampoo, awesome atmosphere, the works. I loved it. Arrange an appointment a few days early though, they're busy! I had my hair cut by Kari. 405-840-2767

I really like Lakeside, every time and I'm not going to quality cut and the price is great.
My only complaint is that they close at 5:30 which I understand is fairly typical, however the barbershop is designed to cater to men, professional man, the times you have to work till five. I am a teacher and Am contractility obligated to stay at school until five thirty . Because I like to get my haircut after work on out the weekdays I was forced to go to the velvet monkey salon. I was pissed nine that this is not a barbershop because I've been going to the barbershop the last two years. However the monkeying does a standup job they know how to do a perfect tapered businessman, classic haircuts Albeit slightly more expensive. It's located in the Plaza District and is worth a shot if Lakeside doesn't work for you.

A bit up May from Lakeside is Barbershop Corner. I've only had beard trims at both but they seem fine.

Thank you all for the suggestions! Lakeside definitely seems to be the place. I'm looking forward to getting rid of this mop on my head.
