Okay guys I need some quick advice. We just recently moved to norman and I haven't had a chance to look at the thrift stores, what is a good place to look for children's...
Patty W. replied:
The thrift store@12 th and Santa Fe in Moore isn't to bad but once upon a child is awrsome
Debbie S. replied:
Outreach Thrift store by Walmart on the eastside of Norman and they have another larger store by Big Lots on 24 th & Main street in Norman. Both stores are well organized and good. Salvation Army in Norman and Moore are good too.
Banda F. replied:
"Once Upon a Child" in South OKC. Plus they buy your outgrown kids clothing, I did better there than at resale shops. In Norman go to Salvation Army on Lindsey by the Homeland on Wednesdays (its half off that day) I find great stuff/clothes there, good luck:)
Stephanie S. replied:
Cindys Resale for women's clothes. It's at 24 th & Main just east of Hastings.
Lin J. replied:
If any of you don't mind driving to Noble.... Noble's Nifty Thrifty is a great store, very organized (owner used to run Ritzy Rag), and the prices are fantastic. 207 E. Elm, but visible as you enter town on the right.
Brenda A. replied:
Here a link to goodwill an see where they are all located. www.okgoodwill.org
Jamie E. replied:
Maybe Outreach Thrift. It's located in one of the strip mall areas by Eastside Walmart.
Hope this ok to ask :-) Is there a place in Edmond/OKC that takes (good quality) toy and/or clothing donations, without turning around and selling them? Would rather...
Danica A. replied:
Infant Crisis is the best place to donate clothing
LeAnn K. replied:
All Things Baby is on 2 nd street in Edmond. They help families in need and take donations. I was there last week and they are in desperate need of clothing. They accept up to size 8.
William A. replied:
We donated a crudload of stuff to the YWCA's domestic violence services. The women who show up there (usually with children), frequently arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. The do have a resale shop, but they often need things like stuffed animals and board games and books to help children get through a very difficult time. http://www.ywcaokc.org/site/c.7 oJELRPuFgJYG/b.8331203/k.794A/Domestic_Violence_Services.htm
