Definitely want to stay on the strip instead of Fremont st. I stayed at MGM Grand last time and it was awesome.
Cody B. replied:
I have stayed at the golden nugget and I enjoyed it. I like old Vegas more. Golden Nugget has a glass water slide surrounded by sharks. There is a pin ball museum in Vegas. I like the Hoover dam but if you are going to go that far and you have not seen the Grand Canyon yet then you should do it!

I hated Vegas. I only liked two things: that it was totally normal and acceptable to be really day-drunk and shopping in CVS with a bunch of other drunks, and 2: The Double Down Saloon. http://www.doubledownsaloon.com/

They have the Bettie Page Clothing store there close to the strip. Lots of great outfits! I would highly recommend the Liberace Museum. Not sure if it's still open. Last time I was there was 2000. http://www.bettiepageclothing.com/

Thevwife are going to be visiting Memphis the end of April. We will be towing a trailer behind the motorcycle. Does anyone have suggestions for hotels that are safe to...
Chuck S. replied:
What about just on the outskirts of Memphis? Do you have a particular area you are trying to stay or avoid? Just 4 miles south of city limits, HornLake/Southaven MS. HWY 302/GOODMAN RD. plenty of rooms and out of the way, tucked in away from all the traffic. Easy access to all points in Memphis. About 7 miles south of Graceland/Elvis' compound. And if you would like, store the trailer at my place. Always secure. I'm 4 miles from there. Maybe we could ride some roads while you are here. Pm me and I will send phone number if you are interested. I ride a Vision, and my son works for local dealer. Also Barton Powersports is just outside of Memphis and has a fenced area behind the dealership, maybe they will let you park it there. Look forward to hearing from you.

Does anyone know a good hotel in historic downtown Savannah, GA. We would like one with parking close to the hotel since we will be on the bike. Thanks for the help.

I like to stay at the Hampton Inn on Bay Street. They have a garage, but I have never taken a bike there. http://hamptoninn3.hilton.com/en/hotels/georgia/hampton-inn-savannah-historic-district-SAVDTHX/index.html
Woody T. replied:
The Savannah Marriott is very close to walking distance and I believe they're motorcycle friendly parking instead having to park in one of the parking garages
Would anyone have any suggestions for a hotel in Gatlinburg, Tenn that has over sized parking? Staying a few days with my bikes. Need space for a pickup and 16 foot...
Gardner H. replied:
Stay in Townsend at http://www.tremontlodge.com They can handle any size trailer and it's not frigging nightmare like Gatlinburg is...It's only 20 miles away too....Much better side of the Smokies...
Chip T. replied:
Zoders best western use to have a annex lot for trailers and large vehicles might check them out. Also look into cabin rentals they can be much cheaper than a hotel.
