It won't be open at this time of day but I have had lots of experience with the walkin clinic in the Shoppers drug mart in the 6 Points Plaza recently and have always had good interactions with the staff and doctors there.

They won’t be able to help with muscle pain. All they would do is take an X-ray to make sure nothing’s broken or tell you to do exactly what you’re doing.
They’re not specialists in MSK stuff, they’re only there to handle broken bones. If something happened at work though they could help with documenting that (and it’d be good to go sooner than later for that). Trillium Hospital has an urgent care centre at I think 150 Sherway drive, it’s open until 10 pm (for future reference)
for actual help, you’d need a sports medicine specialist or physiotherapist. Check out Athlete’s Care (they’re a chain but I haven’t had a bad experience with a doctor there yet).
Having sprained and strained lots of things, I’d bet though that you’d get told to do pretty much what you’re doing.

I'd pulled a muscle in my back a few years ago while biking, and found incredible relief in trigger point massage therapy. Not sure if it will work for you, but it stopped me from walking like a hunchback for a few weeks.

The Etobicoke Medical and Walk-In clinic by HMC is just north of the intersection. Opens at 9 am. You should probably start taking 500 mg acetaminophen (Tylenol) every few hours for the pain. If it’s a sprain, ibuprofen won’t help too much and muscle relaxants won’t necessarily assist. Did a sudden movement cause you to injure it or was it from overuse? What makes you think it’s sprained?

The Urgent Care near Sherway has always been good when we've gone.

You can also go to St Joseph’s Health Centre just down the way in the Queensway and get help at a full hospital. Should be a short Uber trip from there.

Just wondering if there is a Family doctor, in Arthur or Fergus that is accepting new patients. Looking for my mother who just moved to Arthur? Any suggestions will help!

Try Dr. Landoni. He was taking new patients. Not sure if he still is.
Cherlyn A. replied:
Dr Landoni accepted me as a patient in January 2016 but unsure if he is now!
Elsa M. replied:
Yes. Dr Landoni will take her if she is in Arthur. She can request the nurse practitioner (Barb Wagg) of she would rather see a female provider.
My family doctor, for health reasons, is no longer practising.
