This might have been asked before but I can't find the post. Can someone recommend an appliance repair guy in the area? My oven is not working and of course it's not...
Alek D. replied:
If you know what part you need and are capable of changing it yourself, you can order it online at http://www.appliancepartspros.com/. If it does not fix the problem, you send it back for refund. The only caveat is that you'd need to pay for shipping (both ways). I just went over this process last week. If you need an appliance repair guy, try Igor: (916) 595-4728. He fixed our washing machine about a year ago and dishwasher last week. Nice guy. Reasonable rates.

This is worth a shot. Any appliance repair people out there know where I can get a thermal fuse for a Whirlpool dryer? I'd rather not use Amazon if I don't have to....
Jeff Chaix my cell is 916-505-7196 if you are still in need. Text me and I'll meet up. Provide a model # but I'm sure you'll likely need the 3392519.

Rick Stephens said to try Standard Appliance Parts.
Gayle D. replied:
Debbie Stephens the owner of Lake Appliance who's due date is tomorrow has given her number to Jeff! Can't really do.much better than a pregnant woman with a thermal fuse store!
Debbie B. replied:
Lilly, Krystle McConnell is the owner of Lake Appliance Repair!
Jeff C. replied:
Krystle McConnell came through for me and my dryer is fixed! Thank you! And I didn't have to deliver a baby! Although I think I had some latex gloves in my car lol
Gayle D. replied:
Jeff Chaix and Krystle McConnell think we should have an OV name that baby contest! Thermal if it's a boy? You guys made my Sunday the Niners were killing me.
Eric H. replied:
Lake Appliance has always handled my dishwasher handle needs. Well done Krystle McConnell. Too bad you can't have a footprint on Main Street. That was an excellent display of down home, all American small business practices. I wish you and your family a very successful, healthy; (painless!?) arrival of possibly the newest resident of Orangevale.
I can possibly meet you near SaveMart. We own Lake Appliance Repair and have thermal fuses. My due date is tomorrow and the office isn't open today but I have to head to grocery store in a little while.
Does someone on here have an appliance repair business?
Gayle D. replied:
Local great service Lake Appliance. Never forget the day the owner opened their store on a Sunday to help a fellow get a fuse for his dryer...on the day she was due to deliver her baby! Just did some washer repairs for my daughter.
Marily M. replied:
I JUST had Lake Appliance come this morning (posted about them, too!) Great service!
