I went here. Awesome place. Very kind caring people and take the time to actually Listen. My problem was solved fast and orthotics made quickly. Great experience there. http://www.familyfootcare.net

Custom orthotics can be one of the better ways to help alleviate plantar fasciitis. If you are considering this option though, please consider seeng a certified pedorthist and not a physiotherapist/chiropractor that fits orthotics. Pedorthists are experts in this field and work exclusively with foot problems/pain. Headwaters Physiotherapy and Better Health Clinic both have pedorthists in the clinic that could help you. Physiotherapy may also be beneficial to help alleviate tightness in the calves and other lower leg muscles that contribute to a tight plantar fascia as well as being able to provide therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, laser, shockwave to the plantar fascia itself.

Get a night splint it will be gone in a few weeks. Its kind of like a brace you wear when sleeping at night, and is annoying, however it was worth the $100 I would have paid a thousand for it! Got it at the medical supply store below Dufferin Family Chiropractic up by tourist info centre.
My Dr./NP suggested orthotics for my ankle pronation, which may be causing some of my knee problems.....I know NOTHING about any of the podiatrists in town or those who...

If you need orthotics I strongly recommend Ed Felske at Bahma EDS at 75 First Street Orangeville. He makes fabulous orthotics from leather and cork and his prices are great and the quality is superior to any orthotics around. He knows about feet and gait more than anyone else you'll ever meet.
Looking for recommendations for a podiatrist or a chiropodist in town. Also....anyone know if you need a doctor referral to use your benefits to see one?
