Im in the market for a new pediatrician. Does anyone love their childs doctor and feel they are thorough?
Natasha D. replied:
Looks like I go to the same doctor as the first lady but the girls see Dr. Radar we followed him from bg.... along with some of my friend ... he is wonderful
Natasha D. replied:
They should ask for Eric Rader
Janelle S. replied:
Dr. Clay-Hufford/ Dr. Scovell at Toledo Peds are by far my favorite. 419-291-2121.
I'm looking for a good doctor, with a lot of experience, who pays attention to new info, who listens... Who is also in Oregon, or Northern CA, or Washington (I'm in...

So I'm looking for a new female family dr.
Anyone have suggestions on who I should go to?
I prefer to have a doctor in grants pass.
Aaron S. replied:
From Grants Pass Family Medical site >>>>>>Shelley Hart, FNP is currently accepting new patients with most insurances. Dr. Donna Givens is currently closed to new patients >>>> The one with FNP after her name is an example of not a real MD
Mary C. replied:
I like Dr Heather Merlo. She is in Rogue River, not GP but worth the drive
Mayana K. replied:
Heather Kahn or Angela Mount
Tina P. replied:
Dr Powell I hear is very good. She's a MD Mountainview Family Practice.
Brittney J. replied:
If you don't find a good one in grants pass. Sarah Christiansen at children and adolescents in Medford is amazing!!!!
Heather T. replied:
Shelly Hart in with Dr. Donna Givens
Elizabeth W. replied:
Aaron. Most FNPs and PAs work under an M.D. or a DO. I have a PA and she is amazing. When she was stumped she not only asked colleagues of hers but a whole team of doctors and other PAs. I would recommend any MD or FNP or PA at mountain view family practice in GP. That is were Dr Powell as mentioned above works
I'm still looking for a male doctor in Grants Pass that will take All Care :)
Mountain view is taking New All Care clients but there is only one Doctor left Carol...
Tina P. replied:
Dr. Abd-nur (sp)
Crissy H. replied:
Dr. Ermshar at Well Springs Family Clinic
Lisa E. replied:
Great info Nathan... I tried saying that in the last post she had about looking... It will take a month or two to get ohp to switch you... But Josephine groups staff will work with the offices to get you in to their group.
Allison S. replied:
Mason Harrison he works on Nebraska ln or Rd
Mellaniy S. replied:
I heard Mason Harrison is really good. Im just worried that he might not be high up enough to address some of my issues.
Wondering if any of you have any experience with any of these doctors and if so who would you recommend? Tia!
Carol A. Thomas FNP
Robert M. Gentry MD
George E....
Amber H. replied:
Mark Rondeau is great...
Krista S. replied:
Mark Rondeau is good, but their office is behind with the times as far as electronics and equipment goes
Tami F. replied:
Stay away from Rondeau. He took over for Dr. Jackson and couldn't diagnose my appendicitis. I went a week with a ruptured appendix and nearly died from it. Stay far far far away from him!!!!!
Lisa E. replied:
Its a weird feeling seeing all of these MDs that were just starting their practices when we moved here 28 yrs ago retiring. My MD has been with GP Clinic for lots of years and I am hoping he will here for alot more...but I know reality. Darn. Good PCPs are hard to find.
Nathan G. replied:
I would recommend Gentry, Azarbehi and Rondeau if they are taking new patients. Otherwise, go with Carol Thomas.
Amber H. replied:
Call gentry and Rondeau and see which can see you the soonest. Rondeau is excellent, Carol Thomas is a NP in his office I believe.
Southern Oregon mommies... who is your doctor? Do you like them? We are looking for a new doctor, preferably one who is more on the natural holistic side of things. And...
Lisa P. replied:
Dr. Young is an amazing doctor.
Jessica W. replied:
We always loved the staff at Dr Williams office. She has since retired but her business partner is still in practice. They were great! And I had lots of questions I have heard great things about Jannie Rollins in Ashland and as well as Dr. Leslie Stone. Both of those ladies do family practice from prenatal/OB to adulthood.
Not going into detail but somehow my insurance wasn't renewed and I really need to see a doctor.
I can afford the 150 visit...
Is there anywhere I can go?
And it can not...
Nathan G. replied:
Siskiyou Community Health Center has a walk in clinic that works on a sliding scale. You would need proof of your income, but it might be as little as $10-$15 for the visit and they could see you today. If it is an emergency, you could go to the ER, but even though you don't have to pay up front, the bill will be high.
Krystal T. replied:
I am one of the Enrollment Specialists from Siskiyou Community Health Center and that was at DHS today, message me if you still need assistance.
Jen A. replied:
If it's an emergency, go to the ER. They can't turn you away and will bill you for the visit. Not sure about urgent care. Valley Immediate Care requests payment at the time of service so any tests would make it cost more than $150. Planned Parenthood is a good suggestion if it's a female issue.
If you are having success in treating Bertolotti's syndrome. What doctors do you see and where are they located? This is the #1 question I get in messages. I don't know...
Emma O. replied:
Anyone told they have to live with Bertolotti is wrong. I had it, and degenerative discs and a deformed vertebrae, and broken vertebrae, a 70 degree curve instead of 30.....just for a start. Stabilisation of the joint and vertebrates above have given me the best results after 3 years of every treatment mentioned and lots not. Done in 3 stages, I have a fused lumbar section and my Bertolotti fused. I can walk for over an hour, drive, and am in the middle to rehabilitating therapy with Physio, who believes I will live a fulfilling life, and although may never run again I can be pain free, I am already almost pain free and getting fitter by the day. The surgeon in based in Bristol UK. His name is Johnathan Hutchinson. He works for NHS out of Frenchay Bristol and Spire Hospital, The Glen, Clifton, Bristol. He has taken me from unable to walk to a life worth living.
Jon A. replied:
I was diagnosed with Bertolotti's Syndrome by my Chiroprator over a year ago. With no success from chiropractors, physical therapy and a MD back specialist said I would just have to live with the pain and limited life style. Saw a post you put on here of a CBS special coverage on Dr Kevin Pauza doing a disk procedure that was revolutionary that was non surgical. He does the disk restoration procedure. Long story short, had the procedure done a week ago and I already feel pain free. I'm still in the recovery stage and looking forward to getting back my life! Insurance does not cover procedure, but mine covered diskogram and hospital stay on both visits. Just thought I would let you know.
Anyone know of a good doctor??? Mine has retired and Destiny is sick and can't find anyone taking new patients?
Patti P. replied:
I just changed a few months ago to Dr. Baldwin in the St. Charles office building. She has been really good. It is really hard to find doctors taking new patients.
