Amanda L. replied:
In Orillia you need a referral. Ask for Dr Gordon.
Laura L. replied:
I don't recommend Dr.Meeter
Brittany G. replied:
Dr.Colpitts with Soldiers Memorial paediatrics was great with our son! She was recommended by our family doc & I thought she was very helpful. She listened to our concerns & was very thorough.
Amber Y. replied:
\My oldest son has Dr. Meeder and my middle son has Dr. Barker for their pediatricians and I find both of them are very good.
Jordyn E. replied:
Dr. Michelle Gordon is phenomenal she was my paediatrician since I was born and I'm now 18. Dr. Julie Gallagher isn't a paediatrician, she's a GP but she's amazing with kids. She's my family doctor!!
Angela S. replied:
I have 2 boys that were diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, by Dr. Kazmi at the Barrie Pediatric Office, and he is great with them. I had Dr. Smith at the Orillia Peds clinic, and I have more use with dog shit on the bottom of my shoe, then that poor excuse for a Dr. but I hear he's retired now..
Aimee B. replied:
All the paeds in Orillia are fantastic! I have Dr Hudak for my son
Tanya L. replied:
I agree with Dr. Colpitts and also Dr. Barker
Brandi S. replied:
well dr. hansen in barrie has been great for both me and a friend, identified a rare disorder that were told to buzz off by other ped's... great with babies... also ratemds.com has everyone's star rating and you can read through those to see what you think also.
Jennifer M. replied:
Dr Hudak is amazing
RK E. replied:
Our Orillia paediatricians are all amazing that I have encountered. We are very fortunate with the high level of competence. You're not looking for a friend;) Dr Ryan Smith is currently ours and he's highly connected with SicKids, every other one I have encountered in their office or in Emergency department have been great. I guess I don't know them all, but I don't think you can go wrong. Just don't let one bad experience ruin it, give them a chance!

Emily Greb is an amazing nurse practitioner at the Couchiching Family Health Center. NPs can do most things family physicians would do (physicals, consults, referrals ) save prescribe opiates and the like.
Kimberly C. replied:
Dr Catford is an amazing doctor. Her office is on colbourne across the street from the hospital
Samantha C. replied:
Dr.Laura Grant:)
Judy C. replied:
Dr. Erikia Catford
Andrea Z. replied:
I love Dr. Dan Kapeluto. You have to go through health care connect, but you can request to be placed with certain doctors. They will accommodate you if they can.
Joan C. replied:
Dr Farn just took over Dr. Kee's patients but not sure if she is taking new patients
Sydney W. replied:
Agreed Sabrina Curnew. Dr. McIntosh is probably not taking patients at the moment because she has too many as it is. Emily Greb is in the same office so she most likely has enough of her own as well. Best route is to go through healthcare connect because there are a lot of doctors in this town who have more than enough patients, especially the really good ones! I found mine 6 years ago through them.
Amanda K. replied:
I highly recommend Dr. Karen Kennedy, she's an amazing doctor very friendly, polite and professional. Her office is on colborne street west just up from the hospital.
Joe B. replied:
Dr. Rebecca Van Iersal Has been amazing for our family!

I just got added as a patient to Rachel Sheppards office. One meeting appointment with her so far- she seems nice! But haven't had to use her for anything yet
Erin P. replied:
Dr. Rachel Shepard. Never had to wait weeks to get an appointment, or hours for my appointment. Great bedside manner
Jordan P. replied:
Dr Catford is amazing!! I've had all four of my babies with her! Best doctor ever!
Patti B. replied:
My doctors office is accepting patients he has an entire staff with nurses but is located at the medical building across from hospital. Dr Dharssi7053268335 try calling them. Same office as Dr. Catford and one other doctor as well
Kimberly C. replied:
Dr Dharssi is amazing. He ended up delivering my second baby while Dr Catford was on vacation.
Kristine B. replied:
Not Sure if she is accepting patients but Dr. McIntosh is so awesome. Best doctor I've ever had
John L. replied:
I highly recommend Dr. Acula. He's been around for a long time and has quite the reputation. If you ever need any blood work done, go see him!

If you don't mind a bit of travel...the University of Toronto dental school is the BEST! They work with ODSP, and for work not covered under your card you only pay lab fees. I have a one day crown and it was around $200. All work is supervised by practicing dentists. Best work ever done.

No problem. She will be taking over officially June 1 and will be moving the practice to Dr. Tazzeo's office on Memorial. Let me know if you want her new number.

Berith L. replied:
Dr Steve Taylor...mobile..comes to your home and is really reasonable
Nicole M. replied:
Dr Taylor's Mobile Service! He has been so amazing with our animals, comes to you AND we found cheaper than any of the vets in town.
Kayla B. replied:
Washago Vet. Absolutely love them. My dog gets hot spots too and has allergies to certain food and he ended up with a swollen face once. Took him in there expecting at least $500 bill for all the antibiotics and it was just under $200. They are amazing and straight forward too.
Samantha H. replied:
The washago vet is Dr Ryan. He is amazing and is cheap! He's an old school vet and is there for the animals not for the money! He is the best vet in the area!

I was wondering if anyone knows of any doctors in Orillia accepting new patients ? My doctor is in Coldwater and too far to get to now.
Cierra B. replied:
Dr Bernadine Murphy
Megan C. replied:
I have also been through this process following a move. Even after leaving my old Dr's office I was still able to use them until I had found a new Dr! If you call the health care connects office they will give you all the information you need. There are Dr offices accepting new patience in Orillia I was able to find one upon a few phone calls.

Sue M. replied:
I would never recommend you to go to Doctor Beeshay in Orillia, its very bad. ( In my opinion)
Sue M. replied:
I was told by Health Care connect that Dr Pitcher was in an accident so I couldn't see him, I have a nurse practitioner now but that is not really meeting our needs.
Looking for a new doctor in Orillia. Anyone know anyone accepting new patients? Preferably female but does not have to be.
Stefanie N. replied:
If you drive or have a ride, Huronia Nurse Practioner Led Clinic off of Horseshoe valley on Line 4. Theyre soo nice in there and no need to be with health care connect. They have physiotherapist, dietician and social workers also part of the clinic. Highly recommend them.
